THIRD GRADERS READ TO PRESCHOOLERS

As part of our strategy to motivate children to read and promote their communication skills, we create a space for peer-to-peer learning.

Last Friday, our third graders visited the preschool where they read the story of Jožko the Hedgehog to the preschoolers. They talked about where the hedgehog lives, what he looks like and what he does for a living. Although the hedgehog is a loner, the classrooms were transformed into a forest full of hedgehogs.

Together they solved the prepared tasks, enjoyed a pleasant time full of conversations, fun and learning. In the end, the preschoolers rewarded the third graders with a small gift.

Adaptation day in our kindergarten

Last week we organized an adaptation day in our kindergarten during which the children could come with their parents and experience the atmosphere of our school.

The children had the opportunity to explore the premises of kindergarten, play with new friends, meet our lovely teachers and most importantly to feel the atmosphere of home with us.

We thank all parents and children for their participation and we are looking forward to share more experiences!

About communication (12.8.-16.8.2024)

Words are a bridge between people - they allow us to share thoughts, feelings and dreams. This week we explored how words help us get to know each other and communicate.

In addition, we read interesting stories, drew, frolicked outside and in pools. We spent summer days full of laughter, friendships and unforgettable memories.

About emotions (5.8.-9.8.2024)

This week, through games, storytelling, and creative activities, we focused on emotions. The children learned how to name their feelings, better understand and manage them, respond appropriately to the feelings of others, and use kind words to comfort themselves and those around them. Together, our children discovered the importance of kind words and how they help us feel safe and loved.

Friendship week (29.7.-2.8.2024)

This week was interesting and enriching in our kindergarten! Our children were working on an important topic throughout the week. They have learned how to use kind and encouraging words to correct mistakes and build friendships.

Through games, songs, and activities, we reminded how important it is to have friends and be a good friend. We have learned that friendship is about mutual respect, understanding and support. 🌟

This week, the children immersed themselves into the world of books to discover beautiful stories full of wise thoughts and lessons. Every day, we read different stories that not only entertained the children but also taught them something new and helped them understand important life values. In addition to reading, we were also engaged in creative and physical activities.

Summer reading: About heart - Words that remind me that I am loved

During this hot week, we were cooling ourselves down in our kindergarten. Refreshing water was waiting for us in the swimming pools, and we had fun on the bouncy castle. We read engaging stories, played games and spent time together. The first week of summer holidays is behind us and more adventures are waiting for us together.

CEREMONY TO THE END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR 2023/2024

It has been a plentiful year, full of new things and adventures.

PARROTS FROM ARAKOV

Arakovo is an educational program for children, which consists in learning about the species and life of exotic birds. Children can touch the nature directly and meet different types of parrots.

This unique opportunity allowed us to pet these colorful birds and sense something unforgettable. Even the brave among us did not get scared and petted the parrots. It was a truly exceptional experience that enriched us with new experiences.

CHILDREN´S DAY

A healthy body, a healthy mind

Sports day gave a lot of energy and strength to all of us. We prepared various competitions for children, which they playfully overcome with the determination of a true athlete. There was also a team shout and of course the final rewards in the form of medals. We all enjoyed it.

MOTHER´S DAY

Only one mother

On the occasion of Mother's Day, we prepared an afternoon full of love and gratitude with the children.

The photos will transport you to the classrooms, where more than one mother's eyes lit up at the lovely children's performances. There were also flowers and big hugs at the end.

EASTER CREATIVE WORKSHOPS

Decorating colored eggs, coloring Easter bunnies and various other decorations typical for Easter were created by children together with their parents and relatives.

Original ideas, cordial debates and lots of laughter completed the whole atmosphere of our little creatives.

We are glad that we had the opportunity to spent time together creatively and at the same time we made Easter decorations.

Today we also contributed with our creative eye and clever hands to the Easter atmosphere in the pedestrian zone.

The children enjoyed the decoration and worked diligently to make our tree worth it.

A VISIT TO A FIRST GRADE

Our curious preschoolers are asking: So what does it really look like in that school?

It was a great experience to be a part of a classroom with our friendly first graders for a while. We are all looking forward to going back to school. Not only to learn new knowledge, but also to make new friends.

Carneval parade

Abracadabra sounded and the corridors of our school turned into a fairy kingdom full of colors.

Children proudly showed off their interesting costumes, from princesses and superheroes to pirates and cute animals.

The colorful parade passed through the entire school and cheered up all faces.

Those are the memories that will remain and we are looking forward to have some more.

Rescuers in kindergarten

Would you be able to provide first aid before the paramedics arrive? Have you already tried how to treat a wound in kindergarten?

Yesterday, paramedics from RESCUE TEAM KARPATY came to visit us and trained our "little paramedics". A full class of curious and clever children was waiting for them. They listened attentively, tried everything and earned well-deserved diplomas as a souvenir.

Thank you for such a nice and useful fast "first aid course".

ST. NICHOLAS VISITED US

St. Nicholas and Angel wandered through our corridors today. They were looking for good children. We found such children in abundance and therefore rewarded them with healthy packages!
