LET WE TEACH OUR CHILDREN TO VALUE THE EARTH
April 22 was World Earth Day. Thinking about our planet and acting responsibly towards it should be part of every prudent person. The question of what I can do to protect the environment is an important base for a conscious approach to our planet. We celebrated this day with our children and involved them in various activities. They could think about how they themselves protect the environment and how they can improve. For inspiration, do not throw garbage in nature, turn off the light when we leave the room, do not throw away food, buy only as much as I can consume, save water, we have learned to recycle waste, we grow various plants at school.
Children are open minds and our enthusiasm for the right thing and our own example is the most valuable thing for them.
Preschoolers visited year 1 pupils
PRESCHOOLERS VISITED YEAR 1 PUPILS.
Time flies and in a while our current preschoolers will become future first graders.
And what is it like to be a first grader?
We became them for a while. We were on a visit in the classroom of Year 1 pupils and the teacher involved us.
We counted, we got the tasks we solved, we played the game, but the most important thing was that we experienced the atmosphere of a first-class.
We are looking forward to everything that awaits us.
Hidden easter eggs
HIDDEN EASTER EGGS
We experienced an action packed morning, prepared for our children by our skilled high school students. They came up with a lovely activity for us, where the children had the task of finding well-hidden Easter eggs. At first, the children were motivated by an interesting fairy tale, then they were divided into colored teams. The color was crucial because each team was only looking for eggs of their own color.
They all scattered around the yard and it didn't take long for all the eggs to be collected. A proud reward was a medal for each member and a sweet Easter lamb for each team. Yes, it was edible and incredibly tasty.
We thank high school students for their enthusiasm and great idea!
Easter workshop
WE HAD A CUTE VISIT. EASTER BUNNY
Easter bunny was a part of our creative workshops, which took place in every class for the Easter holidays. Children received him with a smile, enjoyed his presence, it was a pleasant time for everyone. To make him feel good with us as well , children sang him a nice song together.
Easter city decoration
All it takes is a creative mood, patience and handy hands of children and the teachers. Coloured eggs are ready, the weather is good, so on Monday 11.4. we went to the town with the children to decorate one of the trees that will be part of the easter decoration during the Easter holidays. Children enjoyed it and worked hard like bees to make our tree worthwhile. Thanks also to the teachers, not only for not hesitating to bravely stand on the ladder 😊
If you will be walking through the city, try to find our "Besst easter tree". 😊
WE CELEBRATED A MONTH OF BOOKS TOGETHER
As books are celebrated at our school BESST in March, high school students have decided to prepare a short performance for our children.
They rehearsed a fairy-tale theater about a miraculous mug for our Giraffes who received a small healthy gift in the form of apples and bananas at the end.
Children really enjoyed the show and had a big smiles on their faces.
FUN CARNIVAL DAY
Princesses, superheroes and magical characters walked down the corridors of our kindergarten today. Our children changed into beautiful costumes and enjoyed a super carnival full of competitions, singing and dancing.
You can see more photos from today on our website.
WE HAVE LEARNT HOW TO SEPARATE WASTE
We got involved in the story of the messy Smurf. Children in the role of forest animals helped him find answers to various questions.
How can we help animals to ensure that waste does not make their life uncomfortable? Can we make something useful of waste? How to get rid of unnecessary waste? What happens to waste after it is thrown away?
We have found the answers to all these questions together and the Smurf's story continued. This time children helped him unravel the mystery of who pollutes the water in the neighboring forest.
Together, we also looked at the composition of a battery and found out why it should not end up in a mixed waste trash.
WE HAVE PLANTED MICRO-GARDENS
Micro Garden is a unique way to grow "super food" easily by ourselves in our kindergarten with the help of daylight.
We found 6 cups in this set and we grew these healthy vegetables: peas, pink radish, kale, red cabbage, arugula and broccoli. Our children learned something new about cultivation and at the same time about healthy eating.
See for yourself how we managed to grow them in the photos below.
Winter tales (10.1.-.14.1.2022)
Last week we got to know the winter wonders, its basic characteristics, we observed and researched snow and ice.
We played creative games, enjoyed experiential learning and various experiments with snow and ice, sang and read about winter, and we observed the structure of snowflakes with our preschoolers.
ST. NICHOLAS VISITED US
St. Nicholas and Angel wandered through our corridors yesterday, looking for good children. They found many, who they rewarded with healthy packages! ... And what about the Devil? He preferred to stay at home because he did not find any disobedient children in our kindergarten. :)
Waste paper collection Results
TOGETHER WE HAVE COLLECTED 1 067 kg DURING THE PAPER COLLECTION.
Thanks to everyone who helped us to protect the environment.
Giraffes 2 were happy to win and received a beautiful gift for collecting the largest amount of waste paper!
Apple Day
October 21st is a day when we remember more than ever the importance of apples for human health.
We experienced such a day in our kindergarten. At the beginning, we reminded ourselves why we should consume this tasty and healthy fruit. There were also competitions and apple dancing on this day. We also supported the artistic expression of children, which resulted in many nice and interesting forms of apples, which beautify our notice boards in the corridors. This day was full of creativity, fun and also smells thanks to our cooks, who prepared us healthy apple juice and tasty healthy apple.
Pumpkin Party
Do you know why we met little witches, bats and even some ghosts in our kindergarten these days? Because of our Pumpkin festival, we celebrated autumn by decorations, costumes, dancing and creative workshops. Tasty pumpkin cake was a sweet reward that ended our celebration of autumn.
Bubble Show
Perfect bubbles that burned us! The bubble show at our kindergarten was perfect. Our children experienced a spectacular bubble show. Each bubble was a new adventure. Mr. Bubble told us a story about how he became a sailor and found out on his way that there is more fun with bubbles!
We saw the most beautiful creations from bubbles, smoke bubbles and also mega big bubbles. We also experienced a bubble storm and juggling bubbles. The smile of our children will tell you all about this successful event of ours.
Saying goodbye to the Giraffes
Our preschoolers said goodbye to our kindergarten by dancing and singing last week.
IN OUR KINDERGARTEN HEAR THE VOICE THAT THE TIME HAS BEEN TAKEN
WHAT GIVES US A DEAR FLOWER OF THE FAREWELL.
HIS SPEECH IS LARGE, SAY: BECOME A BED
Even A SMALL PILLOW WHAT HISTERED IN OUR EAR
STORIES BEFORE SLEEPING.
KINDERGARTEN, NICE HOUSE, GIVE ME A HANDBOOK FOR THE FAREWELL,
I LIKE I GROW LIKE A TREE AND AFTER HOLIDAYS THE FIRST TIME I AM!
Dear our Giraffes, we wish you many happy moments during the years spent in school desks.
St. Nicolas day
St. Nicholas didn’t forget to visit our kingergarten and he brought us many beautiful gifts. :)
